On May 21 and 22 of this year, the sustainable fashion festival Bourzma Boutique took place in Riga, bringing together designers, representatives of creative industries, partners, and visitors from Latvia and other European countries over the course of two days.

The festival highlighted themes of sustainable fashion, circular economy, and modern urban environments, demonstrating the importance of creative and interdisciplinary events in today’s city life.

The second day of the festival took place in “Grīziņdārzs”, where visitors were offered a diverse program – a designer market, creative activities, musical performances, and freestyle dance competitions. The event also featured participation from companies such as SEB banka, AJ Power, and Latvijas Pasts, as well as brands like Pols and Lakto.

“This year we very strongly felt that a true community has formed around the festival. Both the sold-out fashion show and the full “Grīziņdārzs” on the second day showed that society values platforms where fashion, music, and ideas about a more sustainable future come together,” says festival organizer Patriks Kirkils.

The Bourzma Boutique festival taking place in “Grīziņdārzs” further confirms that a creative and contemporary environment can become a meeting point for culture, fashion, and various community initiatives. We are pleased that “Grīziņdārzs” is being chosen as a platform for events where creativity, the urban environment, and diverse programming organically come together, strengthening its position as an active and multifunctional business center.
